The process of screenprinting involves a photomechanical stencil of artwork or text that is developed on polyester mesh material stretched across a frame, then placed on a press.
The ink is placed on the stencil, the frame lowered, and a squeegie is drawn across the mesh, forcing the ink through the open areas of the stencil and onto the shirt. The shirts are then placed on an infrared conveyor dryer, bringing the temperature of the ink up to over
320 degrees to cure the ink. Each color of ink in your design requires a separate screen, and
each location you wish to have imprinted require a separate set of screens.
